Submission to Task Force on Financial Literacy

As you may already know, a Task Force on Financial Literacy is working on a report and recommendations for a national strategy to strengthen financial literacy in Canada. The report is for the Minister of Finance by the end of 2010. As part of their job, the Task Force invited contributions from anybody within an extensive national consultation process, based but not strictly limited to a Consultation Document. There were personal presentations by organizations and individuals, there was an online forum (closed now, but the archive is open) about the issues, and they invited written submissions as well. Today I finally finished my own submission, and sent it to them. It’s a long document, please be patient with me. I’m looking forward to comments and discussion on it happening here, now that the public forum is closed.
